The Victorian was built around 1890 and was the private residence of a wealthy
mill owner from Blackburn. The owner lived in Southport and visited the mill once a week by horse and carriage.
The private residence was converted into a Guest House in 1976 by the then owners the Tweddle family and was named after their daughter Victoria, very much in keeping with the town. As Queen Victoria visited the town.
The rooms all have private facilities, many of the original features still remain, stain glass windows, fire places in the bed rooms, and architrave to the lounge, reception, and dinning room.
